Q. Is the meat at Fresh Choice Farms actually fresh? Why is it packaged?
A. Fresh Choice Farms provides some of the freshest and most hygienic meat in all of Lucknow. Our fresh fish are kept alive until we receive your order. Once cleaned, the fish is packaged in vacuum-sealed packs to maintain optimal freshness and hygiene for you. Also, none of our chicken is packed until your order is made.
Q. How do I keep my fish or meat fresh?
A. If you plan to use your fish or meat within 2–3 days, keep the vacuum-sealed package unopened in your refrigerator. If you plan to store it for longer, place the sealed package in the freezer where it can later be removed, thawed, and cooked. (Because it is vacuum sealed it can be consumed 6–12 months later | Lean fish up to 6 months, Fatty fish up to 2 months, Mutton up to 12 months, Poultry up to 9 months)
Q. What are the benefits of vacuum-sealed meat?
- Vacuum-sealing doubles the shelf life of the product.
- No contamination is possible once sealed.
- Prevents aerobic bacteria from growing.
- Protects frozen products from freezer burn.

Q. Do you really guarantee that your product is fresh?
A. Yes! We are so confident you will love our products that we guarantee their freshness. If you are not satisfied upon receiving your order, simply call or message us. We will either replace it or refund your money. Returns must be received within 3 hours of delivery. You are also welcome to visit our shop and see our process and freshness for yourself.
Q. Do you have live chickens or goats at your shop in Gomti Nagar?
A. We do not keep live chickens or goats on-site. Instead, we receive fresh halal chickens and goats daily from trusted local suppliers. We then rigorously clean them to our standards, remove unwanted parts and fat, and prepare only what we ourselves would eat. Finally, we refrigerate the cleaned chicken and mutton until your order is placed and then we vacuum-seal it to maintain freshness and hygiene.
Q. Is my bank and credit card information safe with you?
A. Absolutely. All online payments are securely processed through Razorpay, a trusted PCI-DSS–compliant payment gateway. We never store or process your card information on our website.
Q. If I need to return a product, what are the conditions?
A. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call or text us within 3 hours of receiving the product. We will replace with a new satisfactory product or issue a refund. Refunds will appear in your account within 7–10 business days. Products must be returned in full and uncooked in order to receive replacement or refund. Q. What is gross and net weight?
A. Gross Weight – The full weight of the fish or meat before cleaning, including the head and innards. Net Weight – The final product weight after cleaning and preparation. This is the weight you receive in your package. * Storage days are approximate and depend on factors such as your refrigerator’s temperature.
